Merry Halloween!
It's almost Christmas, so that can only mean one thing: it's time I posted my Halloween photos.

I had a woman tell my this year that my house is the "grand finale" when she takes the kids trick or treating and she saves it for last. I'm not sure if it's the Jack O'Lanterns, the fake cemetery, the dozens of candles, the spooky lights, or what, but I was kind of flattered.

My son was a fireman this year. It was that or a pirate. Because he asked, one of the Jack O'Lanterns I carved this year was a Pumpkin Master's pirate ship. Ugh. It was a lot of work and wasn't near as much fun as the ones I did freehand, but he adored it.

I used to think that little girls were the prettiest things on earth. Then I had a little boy, and now I know better. :)

I guess I grew up in a house full of boys, so I never saw the charm in them. I always viewed them as a sister views boys. Being the mother of a boy is a completely different thing. :)

He has, hasn't he? I was looking at an old picture of him last night and thinking that it doesn't even look like the same child. :)
